Parks and green spaces to enjoy

 We recognise the value of good quality parks and green spaces in Sandwell and what they contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

Six of our parks have already won the national 'Green Flag' Award, which recognises the best green spaces in the country. We have already ploughed major investment into play and games areas, youth shelters, skate parks, community pavilions, ornamental lakes etc. as well as better paths, fencing, benches etc. More investment is under way or in the pipeline at West Bromwich's Dartmouth Park and Sandwell Valley, Cradley Heath's Haden Hill Park and other landmark spaces.

We believe in partnership with the people who enjoy parks and green spaces and will continue to listen to people using them.

What will we do?

We have clear plans for the future in this area. Our aim is to continue to develop the things that we do on your behalf so that you, as residents, feel the benefit. Find out more about what we will do.
