Strategic planning and research along with local plans provides the planning policy framework for Sandwell and the six towns within.  It also set out the general policies which application for development will be judged against.

A listed building is a building that has been placed on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. The list is created by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on the advice of English Heritage.
