Business
Business rates
Businesses and other organisations that occupy non-domestic premises pay non-domestic rates, often called business rates. If you use a building or part of a building for business, you will probably have to pay business rates.
Business support and advice

The Council is responsible for deciding whether any development - anything from a house extension to a new shopping centre - should go ahead. You can apply for planning permission, view planning applications and find information, advice and policy.

Commercial property
Are you locating or developing in Sandwell? We provide information about industrial, retail and office premises and about development land available in Sandwell. We also offer a managed workspace service.
Tenders and contracts
One of the key ways in which the council buys goods and services is via a tender. The tendering process allows us to set out our requirements and allows suppliers to submit offers to the tender, showing how they intend to meet those requirements.
Licences and street trading
Sandwell Council issue a wide range of licenses. Printable application forms are also available from the relevant licence pages and some licences can be applied for online via Business Link.
