Counselling gives someone a safe space to discuss and explore their concerns and feelings. This can help someone begin to understand their difficulties better and work towards resolving some of them.

Sessions are 45 minutes to one hour long. They usually take place at the same time each week, for an average of six weeks. Sessions are confidential and take place in a GP setting or in other community venues.
