St Matthews CE Primary School
With the intended implementation date of 1 September 2019, Sandwell Council proposes to make the following prescribed change to St. Matthews CE Primary School, Windmill Lane, Smethwick, B66 3LX:
To permanently expand the school by increasing capacity to 420 pupils. The growth of the school will be gradual as up to 60 children are admitted into Reception each year and work their way through the school. By September 2023 the school will be operating at a capacity of 420 places across all year groups. St Matthews CE Primary School is a Church of England voluntary aided primary school providing education for pupils from age three to eleven. Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council will implement the proposal.

The Westminster School
As part of its strategy to increase the number of special school places for young people with special educational needs and learning disabilities, and in support of the Supported Internship and Apprenticeship Programme, Sandwell Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to The Westminster School, Curral Road, Rowley Regis B65 9AN as follows:
With the intended implementation date of 1 January 2019, Sandwell Council proposes to expand the school to allow an increase in pupil capacity by up to 60 pupils (to a total of 250). The Westminster School is a community special school providing education for pupils with complex moderate learning difficulties, including Autism, and pupils with moderate learning difficulties with physical and sensory disabilities. Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council will implement the proposal.
