Sandwell Council is appealing for donations of Christmas presents for Santa's Black Country Toy Appeal.
Donations of new items can be made at any of Sandwell's 19 libraries until from Monday 6 November untilFriday 15 December.
Items can include:
- Books
- Games
- Toys
- Colouring books
- Felt-tip pens/Crayons
- Crafty stuff e.g. paints
- Toiletry sets for teens
- Pyjamas / dressing gowns
- Slippers
- Pants / socks /vests
- Coats
- Chocolates
- Sweets
- Selection Boxes
- Boxes of biscuits
Gifts must be new and unwrapped. They will be collected by elves for them to give to Santa so he can distribute to children and young people in Sandwell and the Black Country.
NEW FOR 2023 - Donations can also be dropped off at any of Sandwell's musuems
- Haden Hill House Museum - Thursdays and Fridays 11am-4pm and Sundays 11am-3pm
- Oak House Museum - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11am-4pm
- Wednesbury Museum and Art Gallery – Wednesdays and Thursdays 11am-4pm and Saturday 11 November 11am-2pm
