SHAPE Youth Festival - Saturday 14 July

The SHAPE Youth Festival is at Sandwell Valley on Saturday 14 July - a fantastic free event for Sandwell's young people featuring live music, a climbing wall, graffiti art, a funfair, zorb football, magic, circus tricks and much, much more. We'll also have performances from the acts who competed in the SHAPE Your Talent competition and other local artists.

Come on down to Sandwell Valley between 11am and 5pm to check out what's happening - admission is FREE.

Have you got talent?

We have an open mic session on the stage from 11am – 12pm. We're looking for young people of all ages to perform, first prize is a trophy and £20 gift voucher and second prize is a £10 gift voucher. We still have some spots available for open mic performers - call Will on 07954 404795.

There's also the Blind Dave Colour Run happening on the same day from 11am - a 5K run around Sandwell Valley with the one and only legend Blind Dave Heeley and the Albion Foundation.

SHAPE programme

The SHAPE Programme organises events throughout the year for children and young people.

SHAPE’s objective is to listen to the voice of children and young people in Sandwell using five themes:

  • Being Healthy
  • Enjoying and Achieving
  • Making a Positive Contribution
  • Economic Wellbeing
