Langley lies in Oldbury town of Sandwell Borough, with a population of 14,085. The ward is represented by 3 members of the council. Oldbury town also consists of Bristnall, Old Warley and Oldbury.

Langley is home to Langley Lodge Community Centre, a welcoming centre at the heart of Langley with a stunning clock tower.
